Family Summary:
We have an exciting short term opportunity for you to work with a delightful 7-month-old baby girl! She’s in that adorable phase, all smiles and sociable, and loves to learn new things and be active with her caregiver. She is a happy and curious baby, that loves being involved in household activities. Every week, she’s discovering new things and is keen to learn more. The family is seeking a part-time nanny with a commitment of 4 months, to engage and interact with her daily, ensuring she has a blast while staying safe.
The ideal candidate will be optimistic, experienced, caring, proactive, and communicative, understanding the importance of creating a vibrant and nurturing environment for their daughter. A combination of professionalism and a warm, fun-loving personality is essential. You should be compassionate, nurturing, fun, patient, and consistent each day. Anticipating needs, being safety-minded, and having relevant experience with young babies are also key qualifications.
Mom and Dad are both very busy and want the best care for their daughter. The family values open communication and hopes to find a nanny who can communicate effectively while becoming an integral part of their household. A genuine love for spending time with their daughter and a warm, caring personality are top priorities.
This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the life of an engaging and curious little girl, creating beautiful memories and fostering a loving and nurturing environment.
This position is offering $28 – $30 per hour with guaranteed hours, paid holidays, and paid sick time.
The schedule for this position will be:
- 11:30am until 6:30pm Monday through Friday – 35 hours per week
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Childcare-Related Responsibilities:
- All comprehensive child care, making meals, feeding
- Changing diapers, potty training when the time comes
- Helping to maintain a sleep schedule and routine
- Engaging, playing, reading, planning activities, walks, being outside
- Helping her meet and exceed all developmental milestones
- Educational age-appropriate activities
- Washing bottles, dishes, toys, etc.
- Children’s laundry, linens
- Organizational projects
Household Related Responsibilities:
- Cleaning up after self and child
- Kitchen, cleaning high chair, floor, counter
- Load and unload the dishwasher, baby dishes/bottles sanitizing
- Changing crib/cleaning out diaper pail
- Light meal preparation
- Organizational projects if needed

Requirements:
- Reliable, on time, active and energetic

- No cell phone or electronic use around the baby
Considerations:
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Highly Preferred

- No overnights or travel will be needed for this family at this time
- Pets: Indoor Tabby cat who is 3 years old, indoor Miniature Schnauzer dog who is 9 years old. Some pet care may be required, feeding, giving water, letting in and out as needed.
