Start Date: ASAP

Ref Code: TNJPT554

Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is delighted to present a wonderful job opportunity for an experienced and professional nanny. If you are a loving and experienced nanny seeking a part-time commitment, this role may be perfect for you. Their sweet daughter is almost 2 years old and is just so much fun! She is extremely intelligent, sociable, kind, and can be very focused.  This family does not allow any screen time so they prefer she is being engaged and active each day. She loves going to music classes, the Tot spot, parks, the train park, and the Phoenix Children’s Museum. Their new nanny will need to be very active, intuitive, and willing to plan fun and creative activities for her each day. You will need to engage their daughter in activities in and out of the house that further her development physically, intellectually, and emotionally. A car will be provided during working hours. Dad has recently become a single parent and will have his daughter 50% of the time. Please be sure to read the schedule before applying.

Preferred activities would include:

  • Outdoor playtime – taking her to a park nearby or in the backyard as weather permits, planning outings to child-friendly age-appropriate locations.
  • Socialization – arranging play dates with other children or simply taking her to activities that would have other kids around.
  • Storytime – taking her to the local library for weekly story time and creating an engaging story time at home to make it more interactive.
  • Sensory play – setting up sensory bins with materials like rice, beans, or water for open-ended play.
  • Art and crafts – putting together art projects with age-appropriate materials and using The Nanny Joynt Curriculum that is sent out each month.

Their ideal candidate will have prior professional experience with children in this age group. You should have patience and empathy and be an “intellectual” who values reading and the acquisition of knowledge. They want their nanny to be physically fit enough to run around and keep up with her each day. It’s also very important that you are reliable and dependable and have a safety-conscious attitude. Dad is a very busy professional who will rely on your support each day.
