A loving, dynamic family in Paradise Valley is seeking an energetic, active, and easygoing career nanny to care for their four wonderful boys (ages 8.5, 6.5, 5, and 8 months) and assist with day-to-day family life. This long-term, live-out position is for someone who can commit to 3 to 5 years with the family, becoming a reliable and trusted part of their household. The family needs a nanny who is adaptable, organized, and comfortable working in a home where both parents and grandparents are often present. Their ideal nanny will be a team player who works alongside mom to manage daily tasks, care for the baby, and provide support to the older boys.

Responsibilities:

• Childcare:
  • Provide loving, attentive care for an 8-month-old baby while mom runs errands or focuses on the older children.
  • Assist with the care of three older boys (8.5, 6.5, and 5 years old), including driving them to and from activities, practices, and tutoring.
  • Help the boys with homework, engage in outdoor play, and ensure they follow their evening routine.
  • Plan fun, active activities for the children that encourage creativity, physical activity, and learning.
  • Maintain a nurturing and structured environment that balances love with clear boundaries, as the family practices attachment parenting while allowing them to express and experience their full emotions. 
• Household Duties:
• • Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up, organizing toys, and ensuring the children’s spaces are clean and orderly.
  • Help with meal prep, especially around dinner time, and ensure the kitchen is tidy afterward.
  • Help with school pick-ups, drop-offs, and activity transportation as needed.
  • Walk, feed, and care for the family’s two dogs (a Great Dane and a puppy).
  • Occasionally provide pet sitting when the family travels without the nanny.

Schedule and Travel:

• Regular Schedule: 5 days per week, Tuesday through Saturday, 12 PM until 8 PM (flexibility available for the right candidate).

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
• Benefits: Guaranteed hours, Paid time off, Paid holidays,
  • Use of the family vehicle for transporting children.

Travel Requirements:

• The family frequently travels during the summer for up to 2 months, primarily to destinations like Cabo. During travel, the nanny will have her own room and bathroom, as well as two days off per week.
• The nanny may be asked to travel for short trips or provide overnight care when the family is traveling without the children. An additional overnight fee will be provided for these occasions.

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
