Overview:
The Nanny Joynt is delighted to assist a warm and dynamic family in finding an exceptional career nanny/household manager. This family includes 8-year-old boy/girl twins and a sweet, active 3-year-old girl. The children are intelligent, fun, and creative, with full-time school schedules. They’re seeking a dedicated, experienced professional to join their team and make their household run smoothly.

This single father, a busy doctor, is looking for someone intuitive, very reliable, and proactive. This role requires a nanny who thrives on household management, enjoys engaging with children, and values creating an organized and nurturing environment.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Most days you will work 6–8 hours with downtime to run personal errands or appointments but must remain on call if needed.
  • Compensation: $1,360–$1,500 per week DOE
  • Benefits: Guaranteed hours, paid sick time, paid holidays, paid vacation
  • Additional Needs: Occasional overnights and flexibility for late workdays when Dad has extended hospital shifts.

Responsibilities:

Childcare-Related Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive care for three children, including meals, and snacks, and ensuring they are prepared for school.
  • Planning fun, educational, and creative activities to meet developmental milestones.
  • Taking children to extracurricular activities, therapy sessions, and bath/bedtime routines.
  • Packing for family trips and ensuring children’s items are organized and ready.
  • Engaging in play, crafts, and outdoor activities, including walks and park visits.

Household Management Responsibilities:

  • Running errands, including grocery shopping and Target trips.
  • Preparing healthy family meals and managing meal planning.
  • Organizing and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home.
  • Family laundry and linens.
  • Managing household contractors (e.g., housekeeper, landscaper).
  • Vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, and sanitizing toys and high-use areas.
  • Maintaining inventory and ensuring household supplies are stocked.
  • Pet care: feeding the family’s cat and fish, refreshing water, and changing litter.

Requirements:

  • At least four years of in-home nanny experience, including household management
  • Reliable, proactive, and consistently punctual

  • Flexibility for occasional overnights and schedule adjustments

Additional Considerations:

  • Travel: Not required
  • Commitment: Very long-term, with a preference for at least 2+ years
