Overview:
The Nanny Joynt is excited to assist a warm and family-oriented Christian household in finding an active, creative, and caring nanny for their curious and playful two-year-old son. This is an amazing opportunity for a proactive, organized, and nurturing nanny who loves engaging in mentally stimulating activities, preparing healthy meals, and fostering a positive home environment. This family does prefer their son be at home each day, however, there is plenty of space to explore and create fun and exciting adventures in their home. 

This family values quality time together while surrounding their son with a nurturing atmosphere where he can grow emotionally, physically, and intellectually. They’re seeking someone who can provide gentle guidance, embrace their values, and ensure their son’s safety while helping him thrive.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with occasional flexibility.
• Hourly Rate: $28/hour
• Benefits:
  • Guaranteed 30 hours per week
  • Paid vacation (after six months)
  • Paid holidays and sick days

Responsibilities:

Childcare:

• Provide engaged care for their two-year-old son, planning fun, educational, and hands-on activities that stimulate his curiosity and love for discovery, while minimizing screen time. 
• Support potty training when appropriate.
• Use gentle, age-appropriate discipline while teaching respect, manners, and organization.

Meal Prep:

• Prepare healthy, nutritional meals and snacks, encouraging nutritious eating habits.

Home Organization:

• Maintain a tidy and organized environment, ensuring shared spaces are clean and well-kept.
• Teach their son basic organizational skills through play and daily tasks.

Family Expectations:

• Feel empowered to create a fun and positive environment that makes coming to work enjoyable and fulfilling.
• Respect the family’s privacy and values; an NDA is required.
• Be mindful of parents working from home in dedicated office spaces.

Requirements:

• Experience working with toddlers and creating age-appropriate, stimulating activities.
• Organized, reliable, punctual, and communicative with a proactive and personable nature.
• Ability to swim for safety purposes (the family has a pool).
• Respect for the family’s Christian values.
• Comfortable with their 60-lb lab mix dog (no pet care required).
