Overview:
This kind and easygoing family is seeking a warm, loving, and experienced nanny to care for their delightful 8-month-old daughter. They are looking for someone with a genuine passion for working with infants, who understands developmental milestones and enjoys creating fun, engaging activities for this age group. The ideal candidate is mature, flexible, and intuitive, with a proactive approach to helping out around the house. You should also be someone who will take the lead from the parents when it comes to their daughter, her schedule, feeding, etc. 

Mom works a hybrid role (home 3 days, in office 2 days) and Dad works out of the home daily. During the slower seasons he will have more downtime at home but by the time their nanny starts he’ll be out of the house daily. So their new nanny should be comfortable working in this environment. This family values a calm, clean, and organized home and appreciates someone who aligns with their non-toxic and scent-free lifestyle preferences.

This position is home-based for the time being. The family has a wonderful backyard and lives in a wonderful area with a great park and enjoyable neighborhood for taking walks.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–2:30 PM (30 hours per week)
  • Flexibility to adjust start or end times with notice is preferred.
• Hourly Rate: $30 per hour, DOE
• Benefits: Guaranteed hours, paid sick days, paid holidays

Childcare Responsibilities:

• Provide loving and attentive care to their daughter each day.
• Maintain a consistent eat, play, sleep schedule.
• Create fun, educational activities that promote development.
• Meet and exceed age-appropriate developmental milestones.
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks.
• Handle all baby-related tasks, including laundry, bottle cleaning, and maintaining a tidy play area.
• Take her on walks and enjoy their backyard.

Household Responsibilities:

• Keep the home tidy and organized, especially common areas.
• Load and unload the dishwasher.
• Help with light household tasks while the baby naps.
• Maintain the family’s preference for a scent-free, non-toxic environment.

Additional Details:

• The family has an elderly indoor cat that requires no care.
• Their home has two stories, so the nanny must be comfortable going up and down stairs safely.
• The property has a pool, so a nanny who is comfortable around pools is required, but swimming with the child is not expected.
• Travel and overnight care are not needed at this time.
