A warm and caring family is seeking a professional and experienced Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) to support them as they welcome their second baby girl. They are looking for a hands-on, knowledgeable NCS who is up-to-date on safe sleep practices, developmental milestones, and newborn care. The ideal candidate is friendly, approachable, a great communicator, and fun to be around.

This family values kindness, respect, and quality time together. 

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Compensation: $40-$45/hour DOE
• Accommodations: Guest room provided; note that the toddler’s room is next door
• Length of Contract: 12 weeks

Family Information:

• Second-time parents
• Older child: 2 years old
• New baby’s due date: April 10, 2025
• Mom is having a scheduled C-section
• No pets in the home
• No stairs

Role Goals and Responsibilities:

• Support mom through her recovery after a C-section
• Allow parents to rest and recover by handling overnight care
• Establish healthy sleep habits for the baby
• Provide open communication and maintain a detailed log of the baby’s activities each night
• Assist the toddler if she wakes during the night, helping her return to bed if needed

Preferred Qualities:

• Professional career NCS with hands-on experience
• Strong knowledge of safe sleep practices and newborn milestones
• Kind, caring, and supportive personality
• Friendly and approachable while maintaining focus on the job
• Great communication skills, with the ability to share nightly updates

Vaccination Requirements:
No vaccines, including COVID, are required for this position.

Communication Style:
The family has a very open communication style and values clear, detailed updates.
