Family Summary:

Nannies, this amazing family is seeking a new part-time nanny/household manager for their sweet daughter, who is almost two years old. They are looking for a professional, active, and experienced nanny to care for their daughter each day. You should be a reliable, kind, and nurturing candidate who is experienced with children in this age group and can create a stimulating, engaging, and safe environment. Their daughter is an easygoing, happy child who loves to be active and enjoys interacting with people. Family would love a nanny who speaks Spanish! They are seeking a nanny who will love and care for their daughter while supporting household tasks and helping out daily. You should be eager to create fun learning experiences and enjoy taking her on walks each day when the weather permits. They live in a great neighborhood with a nice park. 

Mom and Dad work from home, each in their own office. They have a flexible and easygoing parenting style and prefer redirection and positive reinforcement. We can’t say enough great things about how sweet this family is! Their current nanny has been with them for over a year and has been so amazing. 

This position is offering $30 – $35 per hour DOE with guaranteed hours, paid holidays, paid sick time, and an amazing work environment. Family also offers the use of a vehicle for all errands run during working hours. 

The schedule for this position will be: 25 hours guaranteed per week

• Monday through Friday from 12:00pm until 5:00pm or 1:00pm until 6:00pm
• Nanny should be flexible for date nights and occasional Saturdays here and there
  
  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:

• All comprehensive child care, making healthy lunches, and snacks
• Picking child up from preschool each day – using family car
• Helping her meet and exceed her developmental milestones
• Taking on walks and experiencing all the neighborhood has to offer
• Cleaning up and maintaining all child-related areas
• Arts and crafts, learning activities, playing, and independent playtime
• Using the Nanny Joynt curriculum to create activities and teach new things
• Singing, dancing, imaginative play, and engaging with her
• Keeping her on a good routine, naps, meals, etc.

Household Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and the child
• Maintaining the organization of kitchen areas
• Kitchen, cleaning floors, counters, and keeping things neat and clean
• Load and unload the dishwasher
• Household organizational projects as needed 
• Keeping common areas clean and tidy
• Cleaning up toys, the playroom, and all areas of the home before leaving each day
• Family laundry, linens, and towels
• Family meal prep
• Running errands as needed

Requirements:

• Experienced with children in this age group

• Limited screen time: no cell phone or screen use while with their daughter
• Maintaining health and safety at all times
• Honest and open communication

Considerations:

• No travel, or overnights are needed at this time
• Pets: Mini Australian Shepherd dog: feeding, giving water, letting the dog in and out if needed. She is friendly but prefers to keep to herself until she knows you.
