Reference Code: TNJFT1030

The Nanny Joynt is honored to assist a kind and resilient family in Chandler in finding a compassionate, high-energy Career Nanny to join their household. This is an exceptional opportunity for a nanny with a big heart, excellent childcare experience, and the ability to care for and support a family navigating a difficult chapter.

About the Family:
This family consists of a dedicated and loving father who works from his home office, his 2.5-year-old son, and his 2.5-month-old baby boy. Tragically, they recently lost their wife and mother, so the family seeks a nanny who will provide gentle guidance, consistency, and care as they move forward. Immediate family members are actively involved, so the nanny should be comfortable working collaboratively with others.

  • 2.5-year-old boy: Bright, curious, and observant. He enjoys learning how things work, singing, dancing, and playing. He is initially shy but warms up to new people quickly and is a joy to care for.
  • 2.5-month-old boy: A sweet, easygoing baby who sleeps and eats well and enjoys being with people.

The family values quality time, healthy living, outdoor activities, education, kindness, and integrity.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (50 hours per week). Occasionally, days may end earlier if Dad’s work schedule allows.
  • Compensation: $71,000 annually
  • Benefits: Guaranteed hours, paid time off, paid vacation, and paid holidays. The family also has a vehicle for their nanny to drive.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nurturing, hands-on care for both children
  • Making sure the children are meeting and exceeding developmental milestones
  • Plan age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and active play
  • Maintain routines and schedules, including reading and engaging with the children in developmental activities and using The Nanny Joynt Curriculum
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the family

  • Running errands (Target, grocery store, etc.)
  • Keep the children’s spaces organized and tidy, cleaning out closets and keeping things in order
  • Communicate effectively with Dad to support household needs
  • Collaborate with immediate family members who are present and involved

Ideal Candidate:

  • Kind, patient, and empathetic with a heart to serve
  • High-energy and proactive, able to multitask and adapt as needed
  • Skilled at creating a calm, organized environment for the children
  • Experienced in child development and early education
  • Positive, with a “can-do” attitude and a warm personality
  • Flexible, dependable, and professional
