Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is excited to be working with this wonderful family of 3!  Their son is almost 3.5 years old and is just so fun and active. He loves to play outside and enjoys anything that is sports-related. Their new nanny should be creative, fun, eager to plan activities with him, and enjoy being active and engaging daily. This family is seeking a nanny who is very reliable and has experience working with children in this age group! You should be confident, a team player, and really enjoy being around their son. Mom and Dad are both in and out of the home daily so their nanny should be comfortable with them being there. A loving, hands-on nanny who enjoys their career as a full-time nanny will be ideal for this family! They also appreciate a tidy, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented nanny! There will be some household management responsibilities to tend to each day as well. Nannies, this family is so kind and we know this is going to be a wonderful position that will also offer opportunities for some travel.

This position is offering $28 – $30 per hour DOE with guaranteed hours, paid vacation, paid sick time, use of family car, and paid holidays.

The schedule for this position will be:

• Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am until 5pm 
• Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm until 8pm 
• Family will guarantee 40 hours per week, however, the nanny needs to be flexible to work the additional 6 hours per week or perhaps on the weekend. Family will give advance notice for changes in the schedule. 
• Nanny should be flexible to come early or stay later on occasion and be available for some dates nights, overnights, and travel. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare-Related Responsibilities:   

• All comprehensive care, making meals, snacks, etc. 
• Helping their son meet and exceed developmental milestones  
• Being active and engaging with him each day
• Playing, reading, planning activities, taking walks, being outdoors
• Library, parks, zoo, museum, and planning fun activities 
• Planning educational activities, teaching new things, making crafts
• Organizational projects around the home

 

Household-Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and child
• Kitchen, cleaning floors, and counters, keeping areas neat and clean
• Load and unload the dishwasher
• Organizational projects around the home
• Cleaning toys picked up and organized each day
• Keeping play areas tidy, keeping the child’s room organized and neat 
• Tidying the house each day, making beds, picking up
• Family laundry, wash, dry, fold, put away
• Running errands, meal prep, general household chores

• Pet:  Large friendly dog in the home, some pet care and pet sitting will be needed.
