About the Family: This holistic and playful family of five values an organic/wild/grass-fed diet, uses non-toxic cleaning/beauty products, shun electronics for nature, and homeschools their children using the Waldorf method. The mother is very involved and seeks someone to work alongside her managing the home and engaging in fun activities with the children. The family requires someone who can travel frequently – in the next year they have weekend trips to Miami, Sedona, and LA, and weeks-long adventures to Europe, the Hamptons, Japan, and Australia. The applicant should have travel-nanny experience or extensive personal travel experience.
Children:
- 5-year-old daughter: Talkative and creative, loves nature exploration, reading fairy tales, drawing, sewing, and imaginary play.
- 3-year-old son: Goofball, constantly active, loves classical music, books, anything imaginary his older sister comes up with, and all water play.
- 1-month old daughter: Loves her brothers and sisters snuggles, sunbathing, co-sleeping, carrier walks, and breastfeeding.
Job Highlights:
- Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day (40 hours/week guaranteed)
- Tuesday – Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Flexibility with the schedule is possible
- Pay: $28 – $35/hour DOE
- Benefits: Paid vacation, sick time, holidays, and guaranteed hours
Responsibilities:
- Childcare:
- Providing safe and fun play for children aged 5, 3, and newborn
- Engage children in nature based activities (art projects and pretend play)
- Prepare organic/wild/grass-fed meals and snacks for the children
- Follow gentle parenting beliefs with boundaries, providing empathy, not discipline
- Facilitate fun and extremely safe water play in pools, lakes, and creeks
- Assist with organizing the homeschool playroom and preparing lesson plans
- Household:
- Keep fridge and pantry clean and organized
- Family laundry
- Family meal preparation
- Load and unload the dishwasher
- Take out trash and recycling
- Maintain a tidy and organized house
- Run errands as needed
- Assist children in organizing their belongings
- Be a team player and jump in to help with household tasks as needed

Requirements and Considerations: Applicants must meet all job requirements to apply:
- Experience caring for children ages newborn to 5 years old
- Honest, professional, excellent communication skills, reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Adherence to no screen time or personal phone use during work hours
- Love of dogs (the family has 2 King Charles Cavaliers)
- Use of healthy and chemical-free products (no fragrances)
- Empathetic approach to discipline (no punishment)
- Love of travel and availability for frequent travel
- Valid passport
