Family is not offering use of a vehicle to transport the children so you must have a safe and reliable vehicle that is big enough for two car seats that the family will provide and install.
The Nanny Joynt is excited to assist a wonderful family in finding a reliable, proactive Household Manager/Nanny to support their daily lives. This role requires a candidate who is self-directed, detail-oriented, and highly accountable, with a strong ability to take on any task and make the family’s life easier. The right candidate will naturally identify and solve issues, streamline processes, and be an adaptable, effective communicator, especially when coordinating with contractors.
This family consists of a fun-loving 5.5-year-old boy who attends school full-time and a sweet 2.5-year-old girl starting preschool in 2025. Their current nanny, placed by The Nanny Joynt, has been with them for four years and will be available to help transition their new candidate.

Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, ideally from 9:00AM until 5:00PM
- Schedule Option: The family is flexible to offer part-time hours for the right candidate, ideally 5 days per week with shorter days, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Hourly Rate: $30-$35 per hour DOE
- Benefits: Guaranteed hours, paid time off, paid holidays
- Additional Needs: Occasional travel and overnights may be requested
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Household maintenance and organizational tasks include light tidying, decluttering, family laundry, and managing dishes.
- Supporting home operations by coordinating appointments and managing service schedules (e.g., lawn, pool, housekeeping).
- Meal planning for all child meals and family dinners, including grocery shopping and light meal prep.
- Assisting with child care as needed, including engaging activities and routines for both children.
House Manager Responsibilities Outline
Daily Tasks:
- Declutter and wipe down common areas
- Manage trash/recycling, dishes, and sorting mail
- Prep simple ingredients to support family dinner prep
Weekly Tasks:
- Check-in with homeowner for updates, tasks, and feedback
- Complete kid meal and snack prep to streamline school packing and self-serve options
- Conduct property walkthrough to assess needs (pantry, household items, maintenance)
- Manage household laundry and dry cleaning
- Meal planning and grocery shopping for all kid meals and snacks, and family dinners (homeowner guidelines/review provided)
Additional Duties:
- Coordinate and supervise vendor services (cleaning, pool, landscaping, pest control, handyman, etc.)
- Books personal/family appointments in consideration of family calendar
- Manage household inventory, including purchasing, returns, donations, etc.
- Undertake larger projects and/or home organization as needed
