This awesome family is looking for a nanny who’s a top-notch communicator, empathetic, conscientious, active, and a dog lover! They have one large dog and one small dog, so you should be comfortable with furry friends around.
They need a full-time nanny for their precious son who can commit to at least one year, but ideally, they want someone long-term. Experience with infants is a must, and being up-to-date on safe sleeping practices is essential. They’re looking for someone engaging, sweet, kind, and full of energy. Responsibilities include helping around the house, organizing, running errands if needed, and doing laundry. Being safety-minded and keeping a close eye on their son at all times is crucial.
Their dream nanny is highly experienced, professional yet light-hearted, creative, proactive, very organized, and a self-starter. They want someone who will become part of their family, respect their values, and be genuinely invested in their son’s development.
Both parents work outside the home but might be around occasionally. You should have a warm personality and love spending time with their little one, making him feel loved and cared for.

This position offers $28-$30 per hour DOE with guaranteed hours, paid holidays, paid vacation, and paid sick time.
The schedule for this position will be:
- Monday through Friday 7:00am until 3:00pm or 8:00am until 4:00pm
- 40 hours per week and the nanny can select which hours would work best
- Family can offer some flexibility with the schedule
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Childcare-Related Responsibilities:
- All comprehensive child care, making meals, feeding
- Changing diapers, potty training when the time comes
- Helping to maintain a sleep schedule and routine
- Engaging, playing, reading, planning activities, walks, being outside
- Helping him meet and exceed all developmental milestones
- Educational age-appropriate activities
- Washing bottles, dishes, toys, etc.
- Baby laundry, linens
Household Related Responsibilities:
- Cleaning up after self and child
- Kitchen, cleaning high chair, floor, counter
- Load and unload the dishwasher, baby dishes/bottles sanitizing
- Changing crib/changing/diaper pail
- Help with family laundry
- Running errands if needed
- Organizational projects if needed
- Lending a hand where needed

Requirements:
- Organized, tidy and enjoys a clean home
- Reliable, on time, active and energetic
- Nanny should be able to swim and comfortable in the water with their child at times. Family does have a pool at their home.
- Experienced with babies in this age group, engaging, proactive, consistent
- Safety is a top priority – Care for their son should always come first
- Ability to take initiative and create activities
- Maintaining health and safety at all times
- Love of experiencing and teaching new things

- No cell phone or electronic use around the baby
Considerations:
- COVID-19: This family would prefer a nanny who is vaccinated for Covid-19
- TDAP Vaccine is REQUIRED
- Length of Commitment: One year to start, ideally long-term
- Pets: Two indoor dogs, one is a larger breed and one is smaller. They are both very friendly. Letting them in and out, giving them water, and feeding them if needed.
