About the Family:
We’re thrilled to present an exciting full-time opportunity with two wonderful boys! The oldest, almost 9 and a 3rd grader is a sports enthusiast, especially loving basketball and golf. He also enjoys video games and excels in school subjects like math, history, and science. He’s kind, talkative, and always on the go!

The younger brother, who is 5.75, is super sweet, funny and kind. He is in kindergarten at his big brother’s school. He loves swimming, movies, family time, learning a little golf, and visiting the zoo and aquarium. He’s sweet, super funny, and full of energy. He has some sensory-related challenges that he goes to treatment for. Both boys are looking for a nanny who will bring fun, kindness, patience, and excitement to each day!

About the Position:
This family is seeking an experienced nanny (3+ years) who is enthusiastic, loving, and interested. The ideal candidate will be kind, patient, compassionate, organized, and playful, while also being able to manage household tasks efficiently. Both parents work in and out of the home, and the father frequently travels, so the nanny will need to be reliable, intuitive, and able to keep the household running smoothly.

You’ll start your day with household management tasks and then pick up the boys from school around 3 PM. This is a wonderful chance to join a fun-loving, appreciative family who truly values the support their nanny provides!

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM (35 hours per week)
• Flexibility for earlier/later hours on occasion and with notice
• The family can offer a different schedule or fewer hours for the right candidate

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $35/hour
• Guaranteed hours (35 hours/week)
• Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time

Childcare Responsibilities:

• Prepare healthy meals and snacks
• Drive the boys to and from school and activities
• Engage them in educational activities, sports, and outings
• Use The Nanny Joynt curriculum for weekly activities
• Help with homework, school projects, and packing for trips
• Maintain organized and clean children’s areas

Household Responsibilities:

• Clean up after yourself and the children
• Family laundry (wash, dry, put away)
• Keep home tidy, including light cleaning (vacuuming, dishes, etc.)
• Organize cabinets, shelves, fridge, and other areas
• Run errands, grocery shopping, and restocking daily/as needed
• Prepare meals and handle organizational projects

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional nanny experience
• Engaging, proactive, and intuitive with children
• Able to take initiative in planning activities and household tasks
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Experience with school-age children

Additional Considerations:

• COVID-19: No vaccine requirement
• Commitment: 1 year to start, with potential for long-term
• Occasional overnights and weekends may be needed
• No pets in the household
