Both parents do work at home so a nanny who is comfortable with the parents being involved each day is important. They do allow their nanny autonomy when it comes to caring for their daughter, but they do also enjoy being involved on a daily basis. This position is offering $28-$32 per hour DOE with guaranteed hours, vacation time, paid sick time, and paid holidays. 

The schedule for this position will be: 35 hours guaranteed

• Monday through Friday 11:00am until 6:00pm
• Ideally, their new nanny will have some flexibility to arrive early or stay later as needed. They are also open to offering additional weekend hours if the nanny would like to add more hours to her schedule.  

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:   

 

• All comprehensive child care of their daughter, making healthy lunches, and snacks
• Maintaining organization of kitchen areas, wiping counters, sweeping floors
• Driving to and from activities and school. Safe vehicle required.  
• Cleaning up and maintaining all child-related areas
• Arts and crafts, learning activities, playing, taking walks, independent playtime
• Creating activities, teaching new things, and planning fun things to do when she is at home. Using The Nanny Joynt Curriculum weekly.
• Singing, dancing, imaginative play, and engaging with her
• No screen time during the day so keeping her active and making sure she is having fun is a must. 

 

Household Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and child
• Kitchen, cleaning floors, counters, keeping things neat and clean
• Load and unload the dishwasher
• Organizational projects as needed
• Running errands, grocery store, etc. 
• Meal prep for the family 
• Cleaning up toys, playroom, and all areas of the home before leaving each day
• Family laundry, linens if time allows
• Taking the initiative to be a second set of hands around the home
• The family does have a housekeeper to take care of deep cleaning

Considerations:  

• COVID-19: This family does NOT require the Covid vaccine
• Pets: 2 cats in the home. Some pet care will be needed: Feeding, giving water, pet sitting, cleaning litter boxes, etc. You should be cat friendly!
