About the Family: This young and vibrant family is seeking a reliable, proactive, and loving nanny to care for their happy 1-year-old daughter. The family values warm, positive energy and is looking for someone who can bring genuine excitement and joy into their home. Their daughter is delightful and talkative and loves to entertain and be entertained. She is very attached to her tiny dog, a 3-year-old, 7-pound dog who is an integral part of the family. She is her best friend, and they spend their days together. The family is very open, friendly, and kind, and they love music, new experiences, and hosting gatherings.

Job Highlights:

• Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (32 hours/week) with the potential for Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week) for the right candidate.
• Pay: $25 – $28/hour DOE
• Benefits: Paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick time, and guaranteed hours.
• Flexibility: Some pet sitting will be needed when the family travels.

Responsibilities:

• Provide loving and attentive care for their daughter including snack times, playtime, and nap times.
• Establish a consistent daily routine while being flexible and creative with activities, including music, parks, and outings as the family gets to know you better. 
• Use of The Nanny Joynt curriculum is highly recommended
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring the home is tidy and safe.
• Care for the family’s beloved tiny dog, including supervising her during outdoor potty breaks due to local wildlife activity. Her safety is of utmost importance. 
• Be proactive in managing household tasks and take initiative without needing a daily task list once a routine is established.
