Family Summary:
We are thrilled to introduce this wonderful family seeking a kind, experienced, and nurturing career nanny to care for their two sweet children. This is a home-based position, meaning no driving or taking the children out for activities. They are looking for someone who will uphold their family values and become an integral part of their household. A nanny who will take the initiative and help out where needed. They would highly prefer a nanny who can communicate well and is also creative in planning fun and educational activities with the kids. 

Their 3-year-old son is active, fun-loving, and enjoys playing outside, while their 11-month-old daughter is on a great schedule and a joy to be around. An ideal candidate would be knowledgeable in early childhood development, passionate about working with children, and willing to help with household tasks. The family values creativity, initiative, and reliability, and they are looking for someone who will make a long-term commitment.

Pay Rate: $25-$27 per hour
Benefits: Guaranteed hours, paid vacation, paid sick days, and paid holidays.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with 40 hours guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

Childcare Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive care: feeding, changing, and nap time routines.
  • Keeping a daily log for the family (feeding, diapers, naps).
  • Assisting in meeting and exceeding developmental milestones.
  • Engaging the children in singing, dancing, reading, and fun activities.
  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks.
  • Planning and executing educational activities and crafts.
  • Encouraging active, fun-filled days at home (no driving required).

Household Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning up after self and children.
  • Kitchen duties: cleaning high chairs, floors, and counters, keeping the stroller tidy.
  • Loading/unloading the dishwasher, and taking out the trash as needed.
  • Organizing children’s clothes, toys, and play areas.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing toys, and keeping children’s rooms neat.
  • Managing children’s laundry.

  • Commitment: Seeking a long-term candidate for at least 1 year, ideally 2+ years.
