Family Summary:

  • TDAP and Flu vaccines are required. They highly prefer their NCS to also be vaccinated for Covid.

 

The Nanny Joynt is so happy to partner with this incredibly loving and kind family seeking a reliable, experienced, safety-conscious, and proactive newborn care specialist to help with their sweet baby in January.  Their baby is due on January 6, 2024! These first-time parents are so nice and would value an NCS who can help them navigate all things infant related! They would love to find a wonderful NCS who is very experienced, someone who will be responsive and attentive to the baby during the night and most importantly provide a safe and loving environment. Mom and Dad both have very professional and demanding jobs and are excited to have someone available to help them get the rest they need during this time. They will appreciate an NCS who will help out during the night with washing bottles, pump parts, and the baby’s laundry. They are so appreciative of the help their NCS will give to them and they are very excited to start the interview process.

They would love to have an NCS who is also an experienced Doula. You will have your own area to rest, guest room, bed, etc. They may be open to hosting an out-of-state NCS if needed. The family is building a new home and could possibly be moving in February or March, to a location not far from where they live now.

This position is offering $35 – $40 per hour

The schedule for this position will be:

  • Ideally – 5 nights per week 8/9pm until 6/7am

  • Contract: 8-12 weeks or longer

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare-Related Responsibilities:

  • Feeding, diapering, and facilitating a healthy sleep schedule.

  • Helping their baby into a great sleep routine

  • Keeping a nightly log

  • Maintaining the nursery areas and ensuring baby items are stocked and organized

  • Washing bottles, and sanitizing items used for babies

Household-Related Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning up after self and baby

  • Taking out the trash/diapers if needed

  • Baby laundry if needed and there is time

  • Making sure all child areas are organized/tidy as needed

  • Organizational tasks

  • Sterilization of baby items, nipples, bottles, pump parts, etc.

  • Ability to think quickly and anticipate needs

  • Excellent communication skills

Requirements:

  • Experienced, NCS training certificate required

  • Cheerful, calm, nurturing, flexible, reliable, and attentive

  • Safety and trust are a TOP priority

  • No cell phone usage while caring for baby

  • On time, prompt

  • Honesty and open communication

Considerations: 

  • Length of commitment – 8-12 weeks with possible extension

  • COVID – Preferred, but not required

  • TDAP and Flu vaccines are required

  • Medium-sized GoldenDoodle in the home

This is a great position for an NCS who is looking to work with a great family! As their NCS you will have your own area to rest and lie down. This family wants their NCS to be comfortable and relaxed while caring for their little one!
