Newborn Care Specialist Position Starting in October 2024

Family Summary:
We have the most amazing family seeking an NCS for their sweet baby girl who is due on October 4th, 2024! This family is seeking an experienced NCS to take care of their new baby girl while they are in Scottsdale for a few weeks. Ideally, they would love to find an NCS who will care for her while they are in Scottsdale and then go with them to San Francisco for a few more weeks when they return home, however, this is not required. The NCS would need to have her own accommodations in Phoenix and San Francisco on days she is not working. In Scottsdale, you will have your own room and comfortable bed in their Airbnb during the nights you are working. Once in San Francisco, you will have a guest room in the home to use during the nights you are working. They are seeking an NCS who has their certification in newborn care and is very experienced in all things baby! They are kind, and easygoing and will treat their NCS with kindness and respect. They do have a sweet Yellow Lab in the home as well. They require an NCS who is responsive and attentive to their baby during the night and most importantly will provide a safe and loving environment for her. These first-time parents would love to have an NCS who will help guide them and offer gentle advice as they experience this wonderful time in their lives with their new baby. Mom and Dad are both very personable, easy to get along with, kind, and enjoy open communication. They are starting their interview process the week of July 15th.
This position is offering $35-$45 per hour DOE
The schedule for this position will be:
- Ideally – 3 to 4 nights per week 8pm until 6am or 9pm until 7am
- They are flexible on the nights of the week and hours, please let me know your ideal schedule when applying.
- The contract in Scottsdale will be for 4 weeks
- The contract in San Francisco may be for an additional 4 to 8 weeks
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Childcare Related Responsibilities:
- Feeding, diapering, and facilitating a healthy sleep schedule.
- Helping their baby into a great sleep routine
- Keeping a nightly log
- Maintaining the nursery areas and ensuring baby items are stocked and organized
- Washing bottles, sanitizing items used for baby
Household Related Responsibilities:
- Cleaning up after self and child
- Taking out the trash/diapers if needed
- Making sure all child areas are organized/tidy as needed
- Organizational tasks
- Sterilization of baby items, nipples, bottles, etc.

Requirements:
- Experienced with infants, NCS training and certificate required
- Cheerful, calm, nurturing, flexible, reliable and attentive
- Safety and trust are a TOP priority
- No cell phone usage while caring for the baby
- On time, prompt, reliable
- Honesty and open communication
VACCINES: This family does REQUIRE, Covid, Tdap and Flu vaccines
Considerations:
- Length of commitment – 4 weeks in Scottsdale, 4-8 weeks in San Francisco – You are not required to be available for both locations.
- Pets: Sweet Yellow Lab in the house
This family is going to be wonderful to work with. They will be starting the interview process the week of July 15th via Zoom so they can get someone in place as soon as possible. This family wants their NCS to be comfortable while caring for their little one!
