The Nanny Joynt is excited to present an amazing part-time opportunity for a loving, proactive, and energetic nanny who enjoys engaging with children through education, play, and creativity! All 3 older children are in school full time each day. This family is seeking a nanny who will nurture their children’s growth while maintaining an organized and structured environment. Mom is a stay at home mom and will be in and out of the house each day. She is seeking another set of hands to help care for the children while she spends one on one time with each of them. You will mainly be caring for one or two children at a time and helping where needed. If you love being outside, engaging in fun activities, and fostering a love for learning, this could be the perfect role for you!

About the Family:

This warm and welcoming family consists of four wonderful children:

• 8-year-old boy: Active, kind, and full of energy. He loves sports and is in school full-time.
• 6-year-old girl: Sweet, nurturing, and very girly. She loves to sing, dance, and express big emotions. She is also in school full-time. 
• Almost 2-year-old girl: Easygoing, joyful, and loves to stay active. She enjoys music, physical play, and reading.
• 5-month-old baby girl: The sweetest little one!

They also have a Golden Retriever, Gus, who is very chill, and a 15-year-old cat who keeps to himself. Some light pet care may be needed.

Mom and Dad are calm, and patient, and value structure and routine. They want a nanny who mirrors their approach—gentle, kind, and consistent. They also prioritize quality family time, respect, and confidence-building. 

What They’re Looking For:

• A fun, active, and engaging nanny who enjoys teaching, reading, and creating educational activities while also using The Nanny Joynt Curriculum. 
• Someone who enjoys crafts, imaginative play, and spending time outdoors.
• A nanny who is very proactive and takes initiative with tasks such as organizing, tidying up, and keeping the home running smoothly.
• Limited screen time is an important rule for the family, and they want their nanny to follow this guideline.
• A nanny who communicates well and truly loves spending time with kids!
• Must be comfortable going up and down stairs safely with the children.
• Their new nanny MUST be able to swim and enjoy being in the pool with the children.

Schedule:

• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Guaranteed 25 hours per week with availability for occasional date nights and weekend hours if needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $35 per hour/$45,500 annually
• Guaranteed hours, paid vacation, paid sick days, and paid holidays

Responsibilities:

Childcare Duties:

• Engaging the children in reading, educational activities, and creative play
• Helping them meet developmental milestones
• Keeping the playroom organized and tidy
• Preparing meals and snacks for the children
• Children’s laundry
• Driving children to and from activities

Household Duties:

• Keeping the kitchen clean (loading/unloading dishwasher, wiping countertops, washing bottles)
• Tidying and organizing common areas
• Helping with light household chores where needed
• Seeing things that need to be done and taking care of those tasks
