This wonderful, easygoing family is searching for an experienced and engaging nanny to become an extension of their home. Their household is a happy and welcoming environment, and their son’s well-being is the top priority. They value a proactive nanny who can meet expectations without constant direction and seamlessly integrate into their daily routine. This family wants their nanny to feel comfortable while respecting their preference for a fragrance-free environment—only clean, non-scented products are used.

The family’s son is an active and happy almost 3-year-old who thrives on engagement. He loves music, enjoys reading, and has a passion for cars, trucks, and drawing. He is highly verbal and developmentally advanced. He attends pre-K a few days each week from 9 AM until 12 PM. The family prefers that the nanny not take him on outings until a strong relationship of trust has been built.

Mom works from home full-time and has her own office space, while Dad works outside the home full-time. The nanny must be comfortable with Mom being present about 85% of the time. The family is seeking someone professional and highly organized, with an eye for detail and a passion for planning developmental activities that will keep their son engaged and active.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday and Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week
• Hourly Rate: $25 – $29 per hour DOE
• Benefits: Paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays and guaranteed hours

Responsibilities:

Childcare Responsibilities, not limited to:

• Providing attentive, nurturing care for their son
• Planning and engaging in creative, educational, and developmental activities, using The Nanny Joynt Curriculum is highly encouraged
• Taking walks and ensuring active play throughout the day
• Preparing healthy snacks and meals for the child
• Supporting developmental milestones and fostering learning through play
• Keeping open communication with parents and sending updates, photos, and texts throughout the day

Household Responsibilities:

• Keeping the child’s areas tidy and organized
• Child’s laundry
• Wiping counter-tops, loading and unloading dishwasher
• Taking our trash when needed
• Keeping home organized and cleaning up as needed

Ideal Candidate:

The perfect nanny for this family will be experienced, detail-oriented, proactive, and highly engaging. They should be organized and have a keen eye for detail, always ensuring the child’s developmental needs are met. The nanny should be comfortable working in a home where Mom is present most of the time and should naturally integrate into the family dynamic. They should be willing to respect the family’s fragrance-free environment and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional nanny experience
• Strong knowledge of age-appropriate activities and developmental milestones
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working in a home where a parent is present
• Willing to adhere to the family’s no-scent policy (no perfume, scented lotions, etc.)
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Reliable, professional, and eager to be part of a long-term placement
