Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is absolutely thrilled to be working with this amazing family who is seeking an energetic nanny for their 2-year-old son and baby girl!  They are seeking a very loving and experienced candidate, someone who will enjoy providing educational experiences and fun activities throughout the day to keep their children active and engaged. You should be familiar with baby-led weaning and allow their children to progress in their developmental skills and knowledge. Their son is very bright, curious, active, and fun to be around. He likes to stay busy and enjoys playing outside and taking walks. He needs someone who is active and engaged, plays with him, and is focused on teaching him new things while also allowing him the space to grow and play independently. You should be up to date and aware of age-appropriate milestones to create fun and exciting experiences each day. Mom and Dad both work from home and will be in and out each day, but are focused on work and spend the majority of their time in their home offices. This family is truly looking for a nanny who will love and care for their children while they are working. You should also be pet friendly as this family has 2 dogs in the home. They appreciate a nanny who is fully focused on their children and not household tasks each day.  The family also has a scent-free home, so no perfumes or heavy scents.

This position is offering $30 per hour DOE with guaranteed hours and PTO

The schedule for this position will be: 25 hours guaranteed

• 9am until 2pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
• Family is flexible on the days of the week and hours for the right candidate
• When applying please let me know your ideal schedule that is 25 hours or less

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:   

• All comprehensive child care, making healthy lunches, and snacks
• Maintaining organization of kitchen areas
• Helping children meet and exceed their developmental milestones
• Driving to and from activities if needed
• Cleaning up and maintaining all child-related areas
• Arts and crafts, learning activities, playing, taking walks, independent playtime
• Creating activities, teaching new things, and planning fun things to do at home
• Singing, dancing, imaginative play, and engaging with them

 

Household Related Responsibilities while child naps or when time allows:

• Cleaning up after self and child
• Kitchen, cleaning floors, counters, keeping things neat and clean
• Load and unload the dishwasher if needed
• Organizational projects as needed 
• Cleaning up toys, playroom, and all areas of the home before leaving each day
• Child’s laundry
• The family does have a housekeeper

Requirements:

• Scent-free, no heavy scents or perfumes to be used in their home
• Limited screen time, no cell phone or screen use while with the children
• Experienced with children in this age group

• Maintaining health and safety at all times
• Love experiencing and teaching new things
• Honesty and open communication
• Enjoyment of children, passionate about your career as a nanny

Considerations:  

• COVID-19: This family does NOT require the Covid vaccine
• No travel or overnights will be needed
• Pets: 2 small elderly dogs in the home
