Experienced, Professional, Part-Time Nanny Needed for Infant Twins

The Nanny Joynt is very happy to be working with this active and fun family to help them find an amazing part-time and professional nanny for their twins who are due in July! If you have a Newborn Care Certificate this would be ideal, but not required. Their big brother who is 2 years old is super excited!  He attends preschool full time M-F so your main focus will be on the twins.  This is a loving family who wants to find the best nanny out there who can help with the care of their children. This family is seeking a reliable, patient, and confident nanny to join their family for at least the next year or longer! A nanny who will take initiative and is confident in their role, but should be able to ask questions when needed. You should have a great work ethic, and be honest and caring, a nanny who LOVES her job and takes pride in her career caring for children!  Both parents are very busy and work both inside and outside of the home, so one or both of them can be in and out during the day. Their new nanny should take the initiative to be active and engage with the twins every day. A nanny who is experienced with the education and development of their children is ideal. You should be loving, hands-on, safety conscious, and very active with the children each day as well. This busy and active family is looking for a nanny who is fun to be around and previous experience with twins would be ideal.  A nanny who is organized, patient, and understanding with their children is most important to them. Their nanny should also be warm, calm, flexible, attentive, punctual, self-driven, and motivated. Their nanny should always have a positive outlook and enjoy spending time with their sweet twins!

 

The schedule will be 30 hours each week, with guaranteed hours, paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick days

This position is offering $28 – $30 per hour

• Tuesday: 6:30-3:30
• Wednesday: 7:30-1:30
• Thursday: 6:30-3:30
• Friday: 9:00-3:00

Childcare-related duties include but are not limited to:

• All comprehensive childcare for the twins each day
• Making food, cleaning bottles, sterilizing items as needed
• Helping the children meet developmental milestones, education, reading, singing
• Diapers, naps, maintaining a healthy sleeping and eating schedule
• Activities in the home and getting them outdoors on walks
• Maintaining organization and making sure the children’s needs are taken care of efficiently
• Maintain a daily log of their activities

Household responsibilities will include:

• Light house cleaning, wiping down kitchen counters, tidying house each day, etc.
• Load/Unload Dishwasher
• Children’s laundry, sanitizing toys
• Keeping things organized and cleaned up
• Helping out where needed if time allows – the main focus will always be on the children

Considerations:

• COVID19- Covid Vaccine is REQUIRED

• Pets: The Family has two dogs, a Husky, and a Golden Retriever so their nanny should be pet-friendly. 
• No travel or overnights are needed at this time

Requirements:

• Experienced, twin experience is highly preferred
• Strong preference is given to someone with Montessori training/experience. Not a requirement, but a bonus!
• On-time, reliable, kind, nurturing and patient
• Educated, and up-to-date on childcare-related information
• No screen time, and no phone use while caring for the twins.

They would love a nanny who will become an active part of their family! Both parents are excellent communicators and require a nanny who is open to transparent communication. Someone consistent with the parents’ wishes would be ideal. They are excited to find an amazing nanny to partner with them.
