Are you a kind, caring, and engaging individual who loves working with energetic toddlers? Look no further! We are seeking a nurturing and playful nanny to join this family and care for their active 1.5-year-old twin boys. The boys are fun, and playful, and enjoy someone who engages them daily with new and creative activities. As their nanny, you will play a vital role in their development and well-being while fostering a loving and stimulating environment. Mom will be in and out of the home each day while you are working. She is so kind and caring and wants to hire a nanny who can team up with her to raise these amazing little boys. The family also has an 11-year-old son who will be around occasionally, but the nanny will not be responsible for him. You should be flexible and open to occasional travel and overnight stays as required by the family. They want their nanny to enjoy being with their family when they do take vacations. The qualities they are seeking in their new nanny are previous experience caring for toddlers, preferably twins, patience, fun-loving, and an energetic personality. Someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage children in creative and educational activities while also knowing child development and age-appropriate practices. This position is offering $25-$30 per hour DOE with paid vacation, paid sick days, guaranteed hours, and paid holidays as part of their commitment to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
The schedule for this position will be: 32 to 36 hours per week
- Sunday 9:00am until 5 or 6:00pm – Family is flexible on Sundays and this day is not required, they are open to offering Sundays if their new nanny wants/needs these hours.
- Saturday 9:00am until 5 or 6:00pm can be somewhat flexible and you can work 9:00am until 2:00pm and you are not required to work every Saturday, but should be flexible when needed.
- Monday 9:00am until 5 or 6:00pm
- Tuesday 9:00am until 5 or 6:00pm
- Wednesday 9:00am until 5 or 6:00pm

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Childcare Related Responsibilities:
- All comprehensive child care, making meals, lunches, snacks, etc.
- Going on outings with Mom and the boys
- Arts, learning activities, crafts, playing, taking walks, etc.
- Helping them meet and exceed their developmental milestones
- Singing, music, playing, and being engaging each day
- Planning educational activities, teaching new things, using The Nanny Joynt Curriculum
- Planned outings and new activities
- Organizational projects
Household Related Responsibilities:
- Cleaning up after self and children
- Kitchen, cleaning floors, wiping countertops, keeping things neat and clean
- Load and unload the dishwasher
- Cleaning toys and children’s areas
- Keep things tidy, keep children’s rooms organized and neat
- Child laundry, linens, wash, fold, put away
- Errands if needed
- Light meal preparation

Requirements:
- Previous experience caring for toddlers close in age, preferably twins
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Considerations:
- Length of Commitment: One year to start. Would love their nanny to be with them for a very long time 2+ years!
- Covid: Vaccine is preferred, but not required
- Pets: One indoor older lazy pup who is very friendly. He will need to be let in and out on occasion. The nanny should be a dog lover!
- Travel and Overnights will be requested on occasion
