Family Summary:
The Nanny Joynt is happy to partner with these amazingly sweet and kind first-time parents who are seeking an experienced, mature, nurturing, and safety-conscious individual who will partner with them in caring for their amazing son who is now 7 months old! This family would love for their nanny to be experienced in helping them create an ideal schedule that works well for them. These parents are both very busy professionals who work from their home offices and want to find the best care for their baby boy. They are good communicators and listeners and would want to promote this with any potential candidate. You should be experienced in caring for children in this age group. Candidates need to have verifiable and recent experience working with babies. Someone who will actively engage with him each day, and most importantly provide a safe and loving environment for him to thrive in. Their new nanny should be reliable, and adaptable, and offer gentle guidance and support to these amazing parents. Nannies, this is a wonderful family to work with.
This position is offering $25 per hour with 60 hours of PTO per year after 90 days of employment, paid holidays, and guaranteed hours!
The schedule for this position will be: (30 hours per week guaranteed)
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00am until 7:00pm
- There is some flexibility with the schedule if needed on Wednesday and Thursday
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Childcare Related Responsibilities:
- Feeding, diapering, and facilitating a healthy sleep/nap schedule
- Baby food preparation, when needed
- Giving baby a bath as needed
- Helping their son hit developmental milestones
- Playing/reading, singing, teaching new skills and going for walks, planning activities for him as he grows.
- Maintaining a log of daily activities, feedings, naps, and activities
- Maintaining the child’s areas and ensuring baby items are stocked and organized
- Child’s laundry and linens
Household Related Responsibilities:
- Cleaning up after self and child
- Load/unload the dishwasher, wiping counters, sweeping floors
- Taking out the trash when needed
- Emptying diaper pail daily
- Making sure all areas are organized/tidy as needed
- Washing all bottles, and pump parts, sanitizing as needed
- Organizational tasks pertaining to the child
- Other household tasks as time allows
- The family does have a housekeeper for deep cleaning

Requirements:
- COVID-19 – Vaccine REQUIRED.

- Experienced, mature, reliable, calm, nurturing, flexible, engaging, and active with their son
- Punctual and always communicate with us if you are running late or need a day off well in advance
- Great communication skills
- You should be proactive and intuitive at all times
- Safety is a TOP priority
- Love experiencing and teaching new things
- Honesty and open communication
Considerations:
- Limited screen time while caring for their child
- Length of commitment – 1 year to start
- Pets: No pets in the home
This family is self-employed and runs their own company. Because they control their own work schedules they do have some flexibility with scheduling. They really enjoy working from home and will be available to assist if anything comes up during the day. They are first-time parents and are open to learning from their nanny. They are such a wonderful family and we know you will really enjoy working with them.
