Family Summary:

Are you a kind, caring, and engaging individual who loves working with energetic and active children? Look no further! We are seeking a nurturing and playful nanny to join this family and care for their active 5-year-old twin boys. The boys are fun, and playful, and enjoy someone who engages them daily with new and creative activities. One twin is more of an extrovert and loves being active and involved in things each day. The other is a bit more introverted and he needs a nanny who will recognize changes in his behavior and be able to determine if he needs to take a break, or perhaps he’s hungry and needs a snack. A nanny who can pick up on these nuances and changes would be highly preferred. They both love to be active, playing outside, swimming, building things, and exploring new places. This family is seeking a nanny who is honest, trustworthy, takes initiative, is communicative, and will also be patient with the boys during this transition period. Someone who will talk to them and ask them how they are feeling during their transition to a new care schedule and adjusting to a new school schedule in separate classrooms will build their relationship with the nanny and help the family move through these changes. Each day you will pick them up from school at noon and bring them home for a healthy snack and some free time. This family lives in a wonderful home and neighborhood that offers a wide variety of activities and they have memberships to an indoor playground, the Children’s Museum, the Science Center, and the Zoo!  They encourage their nanny to plan activities outside of the home and would love their new nanny to enjoy playing with the boys.

As their nanny, you will play a vital role in their development and well-being while fostering a loving and stimulating environment. You should also be able to take the initiative to establish boundaries with the boys and make sure you are active in establishing a routine and expectations. They want their nanny to enjoy being with their family and someone who will build a strong connection with their sons. The qualities they are seeking in their new nanny are previous experience caring for children in this age group, preferably twins, patience, fun-loving, and an energetic personality. Someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage children in creative and educational activities while also knowing child development and age-appropriate practices. Nannies, this family is amazing to work with and has worked with a previous Nanny Joynt Nanny who they really loved. Their current nanny is moving away to attend school and they are sad to see her go.  Apply now with your current resume and cover letter telling me why you think you would be a good fit for this wonderful family and their boys.
