Overview:
A loving and busy family is seeking an experienced, active, and professional nanny to join their team and provide excellent care for their two young boys. This role is perfect for a nanny who is organized, reliable, and enthusiastic about working with children, especially those on the autism spectrum. The ideal candidate will be educated, outgoing, communicative, and able to engage the children in fun, stimulating activities while also assisting with light household duties.

About the Children:

• Their oldest son is almost 2 years old and has recently been diagnosed with high-functioning autism. He loves shapes, numbers, letters, climbing, Montessori play, and swimming.
• Their 6-month-old baby boy is on a great schedule with two long naps and loves being active and playing. He does have a slight dairy allergy.
• The family’s 14-year-old daughter lives in the home 50% of the time and does not require care.

Family Dynamic:
Dad works outside of the home Monday through Thursday and works from home on Fridays. Mom is a stay-at-home mom who needs an extra set of hands to assist with the children and household duties. This family values kindness, communication, and teamwork and would love to find a nanny who will collaborate seamlessly with them.

Position Details:

• Schedule Options:
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (25 hours per week)
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (30 hours per week)
  • Please specify your preferred schedule when applying.
• Hourly Rate: $28 – $30 per hour DOE

Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties:

• Provide loving and attentive care to the two boys.
• Prepare and feed healthy meals and snacks.
• Engage the children in age-appropriate and educational activities.
• Plan and accompany mom and the children on outings and activities.
• Follow the children’s routine and maintain consistency in their daily schedule.
• Assist with the children’s developmental milestones, especially in providing appropriate support for their oldest son’s needs.

Household Duties:

• Light housekeeping, including tidying up common areas and the children’s spaces.
• Organizing and maintaining a clean environment.
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher.
• Wiping counters and keeping floors clean.
• Taking out the trash.
• Laundry for the boys.
• Running errands as needed.

• Travel/Overnights: The family would love a nanny who is open to occasional travel and overnights when needed.
