Family Summary:

Nannies!  Are you seeking a short-term summer position with a great family? This family is an incredibly fun, active, and loving family seeking a nurturing, creative, and energetic individual who can partner with them in caring for their 2 boys this summer. Mom recently gave birth to a sweet baby girl and is seeking someone to care for the boys this summer to ensure they are learning, having fun, and enjoying their summer! Their oldest son is 8 years old. He is very active, fun to be around, and really loves playing outside with his little brother who is 3 years old. Both boys enjoy doing things that keep them busy while also learning and being creative. A nanny who will play with them and create fun and exciting activities this summer is a must! Mom will be on maternity leave and will also need an extra set of hands to help with light household tasks, and driving the boys to and from activities and summer camp, so a safe and reliable vehicle is required for this position. A nanny who has experience with children in this age group is ideal.  You should be willing to go the extra mile and really enjoy spending your time with this lovely family. This is a temporary position offering $28-$30 per hour DOE with 32 guaranteed hours!!!  They are not offering any other benefits as this is a part-time, temporary position.  

The schedule for this position will be:

• Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:00pm until 10:00pm or 1:00pm until 9:00pm
• Saturday 9:00pm until 5:00pm
• They may have some flexibility with the schedule

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive childcare: Meals, snacks, cleaning up after 
• Driving to and from activities and camps
• Playing/reading, singing, teaching new skills, being active and outside 
• Maintaining the child areas and ensuring items are stocked and organized
• Seeing when things need to be done and helping as needed
• Dinner and bedtime routine each night

Household Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and children
• Making meals and snacks
• Load/ unload the dishwasher
• Taking out the trash if needed
• Making sure all child areas are organized/tidy as needed
• Help with children’s laundry if needed
• Organizational tasks 
• Keeping the house tidy and in order each day

• Experience with children this age

• Safety and trust are a TOP priority 
• Love of experiencing and teaching new things
• No cell phone usage while caring for the children
• Honesty and open communication
• Active and energetic

Considerations: 

• COVID:  No vaccine required
• Length of commitment – ASAP until 08/01 or 8/08/24
• No pets in the home
