Family Summary:

The Nanny Joynt is so happy to help this amazing Nanny Joynt family find the best weekend travel nanny out there!  This family travels to Flagstaff each weekend to get out of the Phoenix heat and would love a reliable, fun, and active nanny to join them. Their son is 3 years old, he is active, fun, and loves to experience all that Flagstaff has to offer. You should be very reliable, and willing to cover every weekend this summer with this amazing family. You will live-in with the family on the weekends in their home. They offer a private bedroom and bathroom, lots of privacy and so many fun things to experience.  A nanny who has experience with toddlers and who loves to travel is a must for this position.  You should be willing to go the extra mile and really enjoy spending your time with this lovely family.  

This is a temporary position offering $30 per hour!!!  They are not currently offering any other benefits as this is a part-time, temporary summer position.  

The ideal schedule for this position will be:

• You would leave Phoenix at around 4:00pm on Fridays and return to Phoenix at around 8:00pm on Sundays. 
• Your work hours will vary and you do need to be flexible to work morning, afternoons, and evenings as needed.
• They do have flexibility with the schedule

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Childcare Related Responsibilities:

• All comprehensive childcare
• Making healthy snacks and meals 
• Playing/reading, singing, teaching new skills
• Planning fun activities each day, getting outside and enjoying nature 
• Maintaining the child areas and ensuring items are stocked and organized
• Seeing when things need to be done and helping as needed

Household Related Responsibilities:

• Cleaning up after self and child
• Making meals and snacks
• Load/unload the dishwasher
• Taking out the trash if needed
• Making sure all child areas are organized/tidy as needed
• Organizational tasks as needed
• Keeping the house tidy and in order each day

Family Values:

Requirements:

• Experience with children in this age group
• Experienced, cheerful, calm, nurturing, flexible, reliable, engaging, and active
• Safety and trust are a TOP priority 
• Love experiencing and teaching new things
• No cell phone usage while caring for their son
• Honesty and open communication
• Active and energetic

Considerations: 

• COVID:  No vaccine required
• Length of commitment – Summer months to include June, July and August
• No pets in the home
